Pearl Necklace

Jenny, a pretty girl, 5-year-old, has beautiful eyes. One day, when she and her mother was doing monthly-shopping, Jenny saw an imitation pearl necklace. It is so beautiful, though the price is only 2.50 dollars. She was eager to have the necklace, and started whining to her mother. Finally her mother agreed, saying: "Well, my girl. But remember that although it is very expensive necklace, mother would buy for you. Later, when we reached home, we make a list of job you should do instead. And, your grandmother usually always give money on your birthday. You should give it also to me. "

"Okay," said Jenny agrees.

Then they buy the necklace. Each day, Jenny diligently doing the work that was written in the list by her mother. Money given by her grandmother on her birthday also she gave to her mother. No long after, the deal with her mother was finished. She began wearing her new necklace with a very proud feeling. She was wearing that necklace wherever she goes. To the school garden of her childhood, to the church, to the supermarket, when she play and sleep, except when shower. "Your neck will be green," said her mother. Jenny also has a father who doted on her.

Each time before going to bed, her father would read a story book for her. One day, after reading the story, her father asked Jenny: "Jenny, do you love me?"

"Sure, yeah. You know how much I love you, dad."

"If you love me, give your pearl necklace to me."

"No, dad, not this necklace. You may take my other toys. You may take Rosie, the best doll i've ever had. You may also grab the latest clothes of her. But do not take the necklace dad."

"Yes, my girl, that's okay. Sleep." and then Jenny's father kissed her forehead and go, saying: "Good night, my girl. Have a beautiful dream."

A week later, after reading the story, her father asked her again: "Jenny, do you love me?"

"Sure, Dad. You know I love you so much."

"Then, can i take the necklace?"

"No, not my necklace. You took Ribbons, my horse-toy. Do you still remember, right? That's my favorite toy. Her hair is long, soft. You could play her hair, plaiting, and so on. Take it, Dad. Just do not take my necklace . Okay? "

"Okay. Forget it," father's said. A few days after that, Jenny kept thinking, why her father always asked her necklace, and why her father always asked whether she loved him or not.

A few days later, when Jenny's father read a story, Jenny was sitting with restless. When her father finished reading the story, with quivering lips she reached out her little hand to her father, saying: "Dad, accept this." She release her favorite necklace from her grasp, and she saw it with great sadness, the necklace moves into the hands of her father. With one hand clutching his daughter's favorite fake pearl necklace, the other hand of him took a small blue velvet box from his pocket.

Inside the velvet box was located a necklace of pearls are genuine, very beautiful, and very expensive. He had been saving it for so long, for the children whom he loved. He waited and waited for his daughter would release that cheap plastic pearl necklace, so he can give her a genuine pearl necklace.

So do with the Father in Heaven. Often, HE waited a long time that we will cast all our property which is fake and replace it with something very precious. How great is our GOD! :)

How is it??
What a good story, right..?
Our Father, GOD is really really great!!
